ANNOUNCEMENT
I created the site GRANDMASTERS OF FINE ART on the 9th of April 2015. Six years on, artists from around the World have joined. In the process, I have been in touch with so many of you and discovered your amazing Art. It is important to me that the site remains one of the highest in the making of Fine Art. On the files, I have more than 100 grandmasters. To advertise our site, I decided to build a yearly exhibition. A huge task… Now I am prepared to take the site to a higher level. Advertise it heavily with new ideas. I am honoured that Grandmaster David Poxon, and creator of International Watercolour Masters (IWM) has agreed to come on board as a Partner in the running of our site. Fresh ideas and help are now very much needed. David will also decide on the new members and will take part in the choice of Art works submitted. I am sure you will welcome this new association. Artists are now submitting their works towards our Online exhibition 2021
The exhibition will be running from the beginning of April. Please follow our page on Facebook for further informations Please do come back on this page. Our exhibition 2020 is taking shape and should be running in the next few days. Wonderful new paintings have been created by brilliant talents from around the World. Grandmasters of Fine art website had to agree to New Terms and Conditions imposed by the new website servers and owners Weebly has been taken over by Square. The first rule: NO NUDITY on the sites... Otherwise, the sites will be taken down. It is with great sadness, Art has once more been attacked by people who know nothing about Masters. Only a few weeks ago, Rubens was condemned by Facebook for showing nipples!!! The world gone mad!. Grandmasters of Fine Art wants to protect the site and keep it running and so has, against its will, deleted pages and pictures of paintings by some of our Grandmasters. Artists will be asked to replace these pictures. Visitors, please be patient and support us. Huge congratulations to artist CHRIS KRUPINSKI who has won the Beechmont First & Gold medallion in the National exhibition American Watercolour
The GDPR has not been signed by a few artists. Consequently, today, I had the sad task to remove them from our site. One artist told me, he was abandoning Painting as his Art did not sell. All other artists never bothered to correspond or answering messages or emails. We have tried everything possible. Two sadly, came from China. Both have not posted on their Facebook pages for months. I think we do know why and I feel so sorry for them! Both were terribly gifted in the Art of Watercolour. |
