RULES OF ACCEPTANCE
Invited to join Grandmasters of Fine Art are artists who show great talent in their skill, subject and medium.
Most of our artists are showing Awards, are members of National or International Societies and exhibit Nationally or Internationally. Some are Presidents, talented teachers around the world, or simply exhibit. All of them being very active in the world of Art.
We receive many emails with portfolios. We do not have time to look through them. Please understand this site Invite artists.
We choose artists on the strength of their work. They must also show support to other artists and community .
Artists who accept our invitation will be invited to an Online exhibition, once a year.
The site is vibrant with these exhibitions. It is one condition we impose to all artists. We expect them to enter our Yearly Online Exhibitions.
Artists who accept our invitation, accept that Grandmasters of Fine Art, publicise their work through various medias, Facebook, Twitter and LinkedIn.
Artists must post work not infringing Copyright. The work must be theirs
Artists who do not enter two years running without real explanation or do not respond to our messages or emails will be deleted from the site.
An invitation will be sent around February/March for an April exhibition.
It will be either by email from Grandmasters or by message on Facebook.
RULES FOR THE EXHIBITION:
An online exhibition takes a long time to prepare. The webmaster cannot receive all the works beyond the deadline.
When we are aiming at a date to launch the event, it means working on the site 12 hours a day with mails going between artists who have not given the right information etc..
For this reason, we are establishing the following rules:
-Artists must be prepared to receive an invitation for a Spring Exhibition in the months of February/ March.
- A short deadline will be given.
To submit for exhibition: We request:
- A very good photo of your work with no edges, no frame, 800 pixels on the largest side.
(A larger picture can be sent but will be reduced for the site.)
Title, medium, size most be included.
For Sale or Not For Sale or Sold can be added. If it is For Sale, a Link will take prospective buyers to the Contact page of your website.

Please Note, we do not sell your paintings. Prospective buyers are referred to your website.

We also have a group where members can post their latest creations.
We do understand and do everything in our power to protect the Copyright of all posted works.
We all know that once a painting is on the internet, it becomes less protected than being in a cupboard!
This is the reason why we are asking for an image of 600 pixels on the largest side.
Our site is protected such as you can not save a picture with right click. If for some reasons someone was hoping to print your work, it would be of very little use, the pixels being minimal.
If you are worried and do not wish to share your work, we fully understand. We will remove the work, the page of the artist.
This means that you agree while joining this site, Grandmasters of Fine Art cannot be held responsible for infringement of Copyright.
We have to comply with the European Protection Data.
We have to protect ourselves from imposed fines.
For this reason, we ask from our artists to send us an email, giving to Grandmasters the authorisation to display:
-Their Website address
-Photos of their work
-Links to their Products (DVD, YouTube, Books etc..)
-Links to Social Media (Facebook, Instagram...)
Do not forget to sign with your full name.
The site Grandmasters of Fine Art do not display your email addresses
Grandmaster of Fine Art aims for 100 artists. The Title of the site will become:
ONE HUNDRED CONTEMPORARY GRANDMASTERS OF FINE ART.
