About Paul Geraghty
St Ives seascape painter. Living and working in West Cornwall, Paul Geraghty was born in Lancashire and attended Warrington School of Art and Design. He was awarded a BA (Hons) in Fine Art (Painting) at Stoke-on-Trent School of Art, North Staffordshire Polytechnic and is a post graduate of Goldsmith’s College, University of London.
Paul taught art for 10 years in several inner city comprehensive schools in London before moving to Shrewsbury to continue his teaching in Shropshire. Since 1997, Paul has been living and working in Cornwall, where the ever changing weather conditions along the West Penwith coast present constant challenges for the artist.
He is now a very well-known Cornish artist and his work has been exhibited throughout Cornwall and beyond.
