About Paul Geraghty

St Ives seascape painter.   Living and working in West Cornwall, Paul Geraghty was born in Lancashire and attended Warrington School of Art and Design. He was awarded a BA (Hons) in Fine Art (Painting) at   Stoke-on-Trent School of Art, North Staffordshire  Polytechnic and is a post graduate of Goldsmith’s College,  University of London.

Paul taught art for 10 years in several inner city  comprehensive schools in London before moving to  Shrewsbury to continue his teaching in Shropshire. Since 1997, Paul has been living and working in  Cornwall, where the ever changing weather conditions  along the West Penwith coast present constant challenges for the artist.

He is now a very well-known Cornish artist and his work has been exhibited throughout Cornwall and beyond.

All pictures are the copyright of Paul Geraghty the artist.
Paul is a member of The National Acrylic Painters’  Association and was Director of NAPA from 2013 to 2016
